1. All reservations and contracts
are accepted on the basis that the client accepts the
park rules and current booking conditions whether they
have read them or not.
2. To ensure that the accommodation
you want will be available, please make your booking
as soon as possible.
3. We are happy to reserve
particular accommodation but there may be exceptional
circumstances when that accommodation is not available
in which case we reserve the right to provide equivalent
alternative accommodation.
4. Provisional bookings by
telephone, fax or email are accepted but must
be confirmed within seven days.
5. A booking is confirmed
upon receipt of your completed 'booking form' and a
minimum deposit of 25% or £50 whichever is the greatest, of the total cost of your holiday.
You will be sent a 'confirmation of booking' by return
post.
6. The remaining balance
must be received at least six weeks before the start
of your holiday, otherwise we may give your booking
to someone else, in which case you will receive a refund
of any deposit paid (less £50* administration
charge).
7. In exceptional circumstances,
when a firm telephone booking is made less than five
working days before the start of your holiday, you
will be sent a 'confirmation of booking' by first-class
mail to confirm your booking and the total cost of
your holiday will be payable on your arrival.
8. Units may only be occupied
over night by those listed on the booking form. Permission
for extra people must be obtained from reception in
advance. When extra persons are accepted a charge of £4.50*
per person per night will be made.
Cancellations
9. Once a booking is made
the following cancellation charges apply. For this
reason we cannot emphasise too strongly the need to take
out Holiday Insurance, to protect you from financial
loss in case you book a holiday which you are unable
to
i) If the holiday is cancelled
the deposit is forfeit.
ii) Once we have received
written confirmation of cancellation we shall use our
best endeavours to re-let the accommodation. If we
are able to re-let, the balance outstanding is waived.
iii) If we are not able to
re-let the accommodation the client is liable to pay
the full balance. Here are brief details of the Holiday
insurance arranged through Philip Williams, and are
subject to the terms of the policy:- Emergency travel
expenses, personal money, accident, baggage and liability.
Cancellation, curtailment and rearrangement. Full details
will be sent with your booking confirmation and are
also available on request.
Check-in
and checkout times
10. Accommodation will only
be available from 2.30pm to 5pm on the day of arrival. If
you intend to arrive after 5.00pm then please let us
know in advance. Accommodation must be vacated by 9.30am
on the day of departure. Late arrivals or early departures
will not receive a refund for any holiday missed.
11. When hire vans are not
vacated by the departure time shown on the contract,
we reserve the right to make an extra charge, particularly
when cleaning staff are delayed as a result.
Dogs
12. Dogs are only accepted
subject to the following conditions: -
i) If you intend to bring
a dog, this must be notified when booking.
ii) Only one dog per unit
will usually be allowed.
iii) When on site, dogs must
be kept on a lead at all times, and if they foul, their
owners must clean up after them.
iv) Dogs must be supervised
at all times by an adult and not left alone in the
units.
v) Dogs are not allowed on
seats or beds and for this reason must not be left
unsupervised at any time. The owner of a dog staying in
any unit must guarantee to pay in full for any damage
the dog may cause to the unit or contents.
vi) Owners must bring a dog
basket and/or bedding.
vii) Large or threatening
dogs and puppies (less than six months old) will not
be accepted.
viii) Dogs are permitted
on the beach but please have consideration for other
holidaymakers, and ALL dog mess MUST be cleaned up.
ix) Pets are allowed in the
Festival, Nordstar Bank Top 8, Arizona Bank Top 1 & 2
and Oasis Bank Top 3 caravans only.
Car
Parking
12. There is car parking
on-site for one vehicle for each holiday home booked.
Cars parked on-site are entirely at the owner's own
risk. Subsequent vehicles must be parked off-site and
may use the nearby Council car park.
13. No person may sleep in
a vehicle on the park.
General
13. Your accommodation will
be clean and tidy when you arrive. Please ensure that
you leave it as you find it. Cleaning materials are
provided and a vacuum cleaner will normally be available
on request. If the accommodation is found to be dirty
when or after you leave then we reserve the right to
charge a cleaning fee of £45* payable on demand.
14. Any breakage's must be
reported and paid for. If breakages have not been reported
then we reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement,
payable on demand.
15. We will normally only
accept bookings from families and/or couples over the
age of 21. If we do accept groups or younger parties
then a cash deposit of £30 per person is payable
on arrival and refunded on departure should the accommodation
be left in a good condition and there are no breakages.
16. We reserve the right
to refuse entry or expel anyone who is behaving badly
and causing upset to other holidaymakers. In such cases
we will not provide a refund for holiday days lost.
17. We reserve the right
to enter accommodation at any time for whatever reason,
although we will do our best to avoid any unnecessary
interruption to your holiday.
18. You are welcome to have
guests visit and stay with you, (subject to condition
8 above), but visitors are not allowed to park on site
and all visitors must register on their arrival.
19. We do not accept responsibility
for any items that you have left behind. If you think
that you have left something behind then please let
us know as soon as possible as your accommodation may
then have another customer. Items found can only be
posted to you when we have received the cost of the
postage plus £10* handling charge. Items not
claimed within a week may be taken to the local charity
shop.
20. Children under the age
of 16 years old must not be left unattended in the
units. Children must be continuously supervised by
an adult who is to be totally responsible to see that
they behave in a proper way and to see that they cause
no annoyance or damage to users or owners of the park
or their property.
21. Anyone staying at or
visiting Beachside does so at his or her own risk.
We will not accept liability for loss or damage to
any person or property unless caused by our own negligence
but do not exclude or limit any of your legal rights
and privileges.
22. We reserve the right
to change our details from those on our website or
printed brochure at any time and we also reserve the
right to refuse bookings where we have made a mistake
in our advertised details. If anything is particularly
important to you then please check when booking.
23. NOISE created for the
enjoyment of some must not be such that it causes annoyance
to others. Parents are respectfully asked to consider
the adverse effect on neighbours from noise created
by children running up and down inside static caravans).
24. No one may interfere
with the fire fighting equipment except to use in case
of fire. Please ensure that everyone you are responsible
for is fully aware of the fire precautions listed at
each fire point.
25. Ball games must not be
played on the park roads or car park area.
